Join Scott and Jorina for a 90-minute, co-led introductory class in the Warrior Training method.

What is Warrior Training?

Warrior Training is an asana-based strength training and physical therapy system that merges yoga postures with isometric strength techniques. Think of it as a yogic alternative to the gym - where you’ll learn to replace weights and machines with a unique method of asana-based exercise. Warrior Training uses mental focus to train (and relax) your physical body. It’s slow-paced, yet challenging. 

In this class, you'll learn how to:

  • Use asana to isolate specific muscle groups

  • Connect your mind to individual muscles

  • Hold your attention within the muscles

  • Leverage body weight and time rather than repetition

  • Breathe calmly while being challenged

  • Train hard while having fun

Who is Warrior Training for?

This class is accessible to everyone.

Regardless of your level of practice, learning to use your power of concentration to build strength and flexibility in your body will enhance not only your practice but also your overall health and well-being. For fitness-minded individuals, it's a challenging, bodyweight-based isometric strength training method that builds endurance, stamina, and power - without the wear and tear of traditional workouts. For those recovering from injury, it's a slow, mindful, and therapeutic approach that enhances mobility, flexibility, and overall healing through conscious muscle activation.

Ji-Training with Jorina - Ji Hybrid (Hip Focus)

Join Jorina for a 2-hour Ji Hybrid workshop-class focused on hip opening.

What is Ji-Hybrid?

Ji-Hybrid is half workshop, half class. This format is designed to help you explore movement patterns of popular asanas in a fun and open class setting, while giving you more individual attention than in a regular class. First warm up with backbends, then stretch your hips from all angles and directions. Apply what you've learned in the led portion of the class, then reset, counter, and cool down. Plenty of fun, plenty of technique, and pushing your limits ever so gently. Welcome to asana playground!

In this hybrid workshop/class, you will:

  • Learn how to backbend pain-free

  • Explore all directions of hip rotation

  • Play with body control and coordination

  • Apply techniques tailored to your unique, individual body

  • Have lots of fun!

What is Ji-Training?

Ji-Training is a highly personalized asana training led by Jorina Innocent, M.D. It is designed to help you advance in all core skills of asana practice: arm balances, backbends, inversions, hip openers, and transitions between them. Through high-quality feedback, precise corrections, and intense practice, Ji-Training pushes both physical and mental limits in a kind and playful way, creating space for transformation, breakthroughs, and healing.

Who is Ji-Training for?

This training is accessible to anyone with a regular yoga practice, whether you're a beginner, advanced, injured and rehabilitating, or somewhere in between. Any style, any level.

Ji-Training is designed to meet you where you are. The only prerequisite is an open mind.

Ji-Training with Jorina - Ji-Class (Backbend Focus)

Join Jorina for a 90-minute Ji-Class focused on backbends.

What is Ji-Class?

All led classes in Ji-Training introduce students to intermediate and advanced practice of the core skills: arm balances, backbends, inversions, hip openers, and transitions. Each class is structured with a warm-up, focused preparation, exploration of core skills, and a reset and cool-down. Sunday's class will focus on backbends - in all the fun ways! 

A fusion of different styles, playful, free, and adaptive - always incorporating individual corrections and modifications that work for your body and level of practice. The level of the class will be determined by the students in the room. A space to learn, explore, and have fun with your backbends!
